Vanessa's POV

Shit. I was definitely in trouble.

Repeatedly leaving the mansion without Rodri’s permission, and visiting his mother without his knowledge. But that was not completely my fault, was it? It was the chairman who brought me here in the first place… but I was the one who offered all by myself.

Gosh, I should have told Rodri immediately I returned from that first visit.

But I had not even been able to catch a single glimpse of him for two days, and now out of the blue he shows up here? I should not be shocked because this was literally his home, and that woman in there was his mother.

I was the stranger here. I should not be meddling in their affairs. But I was still shocked to my bones when he showed up, dark, brooding and drop dead gorgeous in his black office clothes that were rolled up to his veined forearms.

And that deep, dark voice of his ordered me to explain.

My mind had melted from panic from that point till now.
