Disappointment

TRINITY'S POV

The shrilling sound of the phone ringing pierced through my subconscious, dragging me out of the wonderful dream I was having. Rodri was finally mine and we were both about to get married, a kiss would have sealed the deal if I had not been violently thrown back into the real world.

"Who the fuck could that be?" I groaned loudly as my eyes fluttered open slowly. The room was blurry and my eyes hurt from the stream of light that was pooling into the room from the slightly ajar window. "Ugh!" I yelled out in exasperation as I dragged my—still—drowsy body in a seated position.

It was bad enough that I had been struggling to get some sleep for the past two days and now that I had finally found some sleep after staying up most of the night, someone had decided it was alright to call by 6 in the morning.
