"What do you mean he isn't there?" I almost yelled into the receiver. "Did you check his office?" This isn't happening, I thought to myself as I sucked in a huge gust of air, trying to calm myself. "Are you sure you thoroughly checked it like I told you to?" My patience was running thin and so was the woman on the other line.

In a voice way louder than mine, Blossom responded, "I just said I did!" She countered, causing me to remove the phone from my ear momentarily. "He wasn't in his office when I got there, Trinity!" Her unease was resonating all over the place and I wondered if she had left the company or if she was still there.

"Calm down, Blossom," I called out soothingly. "Did Gina tell you where he went?" I blurted out, asking her the first thing that came to mind.
