Alicia's POV

"Birdie, you okay?"

I swallowed hard before shifting my hand forward. "I'm sure I'll be fine once I get some treatment,"

The food was insanely hot and the bursting bubbles were still on it when the waiter brought the food. The bubbles had first gotten my attention as I tried to figure out where the fire was at the bottom of the plate.

"Let me see that," He walked closer to me, studied the hand, and gently placed it back on my table.

"I'll get my car keys and take you to the hospital," he stated.

"You don't have to. I can get myself to the hospital,"

"Ali…" he snapped in a taut voice.

"I'll take her to the hospital, you should get back to your business,"

Georgie answered, causing an awkward silence and tension at the same time.

A hand in a pocket, Nathan turned to him.

"Who are you?" He demanded.

"I should be asking you the same question," George answered.

"I wouldn't waste my time talking to you anyway. Ask her who I am,"
