If Avery swapped cards with Eason, she could avoid Jared's question. But what about Eason?

At that moment, Avery clutched the card in her hand tightly. Her mind was running a mile a minute.

"Avery?" Summer suddenly tapped her shoulder. "It's your turn to show your card."

Avery took a deep breath and turned it over.

"Heh, you got truth?" Violet's expression lit up when she saw Avery's card.

Even she hadn't been able to stomach Jared's question, so Avery was bound to fare worse. If anything, Avery would end up more humiliated than she did.

The others gave Avery pitying looks, which only made her more nervous.

Summer peeked at Eason, then said to Jared, "Avery is the most thin-skinned one in our company and also the youngest. Don't give her a hard time."

"Thin-skinned?" Jared asked with a hint of a smile. He regarded Avery with suspicion. After all, when he'd been entangled with that woman earlier, she hadn't even batted an eye at them.
