Conri…Conri woke up the next morning and he looked over to Tala. He still could not believe she was here, his Luna, The Moon Princess… She was in his bed, and she was all his. He knew she still needed to get to know herself, who she really was, but so far, so good. Conri…Conri did not sleep at all that night. He kept watch over Tala to make sure she was ok. He looked up at the window when the first ray of sunlight crept through. Conri…As soon as his phone rang, he knew something was wrong. Marcus did not bother him this time of the night unless it was very urgent. As soon as he put the phone down, Tala was standing next to him, fully dressed and ready to go.“What is it?” Tala asked urgently“Sheila came back, or pieces of her came back. Tala…She run as fast as she could, and the closer she got to her old camp, the more determined she was feeling. As they reached the camp side, she stopped dead in her tracks… There was no one in sight. It was as if it was abandoned. No one was patrolling, no one was sitting by a campfire, there was no one… Conri came up to her and looking around.“Where do you think everyone went?” Conri asked in a low voice.“They are here, believe me. Conri…Conri was still holding Tala’s mother in his arms, when he saw her starting to shift, he picked her up and carried her over to some trees, out of harms way. He put her down and as he turned around, he heard her father’s wolf cry out in pain and then everything went silent. He watched as Tala’s wolf went to lay down on the ground, staring at the lifeless body laying on the ground. That was her first kill, and he could see she was not taking it very well, does not matter whom it was.He walked slowly over to her, as she has not moved an inch.
