Conri was still holding Tala’s mother in his arms, when he saw her starting to shift, he picked her up and carried her over to some trees, out of harms way. He put her down and as he turned around, he heard her father’s wolf cry out in pain and then everything went silent. He watched as Tala’s wolf went to lay down on the ground, staring at the lifeless body laying on the ground. That was her first kill, and he could see she was not taking it very well, does not matter whom it was.

He walked slowly over to her, as she has not moved an inch. He did not want to startle her, but as he got closer, she lifted her beautiful head and those piercing blue eyes were blank. He immediately saw that she did not know how to deal with this.

He slowly reached out his hand and wanted to touch her, but she snapped at him. He pulled back and he watched as she slowly got up and turned around. He knew there was nothing that he could do to help while she was in wolf form. He had to let her go, and h
