Conri…As soon as his phone rang, he knew something was wrong. Marcus did not bother him this time of the night unless it was very urgent. Tala…She run as fast as she could, and the closer she got to her old camp, the more determined she was feeling. Conri…Conri was still holding Tala’s mother in his arms, when he saw her starting to shift, he picked her up and carried her over to some trees, out of harms way. He put her down and as he turned around, he heard her father’s wolf cry out in pain and then everything went silent. Conri…Conri woke up, feeling that there was a part of him missing. The spot next to him in bed was cold and he stroked his hand over it. He missed her terribly, and everything inside him screamed that he had to go and look for her. But he knew, that might be the biggest mistake he ever makes. Tala… As Tala laid in the bed, staring up at the ceiling, she realized she never phoned Conri… She did not plan on going down now, as things were feeling weird when it came to Alex. He was avoiding her, and she was not sure why. She turned to lay on her side, but sleep did not come easy. She tossed and turned and eventually fell asleep. Tala opened her eyes and yawned. She had trouble sleeping lately as her second child was a much more intense pregnancy than the first. She tried to roll out of bed, but it was not easy at all. She heard Conri in the shower and decided to wait for him.
