Chapter 37: Maia's Trip
Maia
I opened the balcony door and went out to savor the view from our hotel. I heard soft footsteps from behind me then felt Clyden’s arms snake around my waist. I held onto his arms as he held me, and we both looked at the wonderful scenery of Greece. It was our second day here, and all we did during our first day was rest and sleep on the bed.
He kissed my head as I felt the warm breeze on my skin. “Do you like it here?” He asked.
I nodded my head. “Very much. I wish I could live here forever.”
He chuckled. “Me too. But, I really don’t know whether I love the place or the person I’m with more.”
I turned around and gazed deeply into his sincere eyes. I stood up on my tippy toes to give him a peck on the cheek, then rested my head on his shoulder. “You’re becoming cheekier each day,” I said while pinching his pecs.
