Ch43 - Father and Son meet up

“Do you want me to remove my beard?” David asked with a smile, which made Jacob nod.

“And your mustache,” Jacob added.

“Oh, okay. I will do that next time,” he said.

He hid again at her mother’s back. “Hey buddy, can I hug you? Come to Daddy.” David tried to reach for Jacob, but the kid hugged her mother’s legs, afraid to be held by a stranger.

David was not used to kids. He hates kids ever since. Because for him, kids did nothing but whine. And now, he was trying his best to be patient in front of his son. But he could never hide his frustrations. He sighed exasperatingly and forced Jacob to come to him. “I said come to me.” He said with his teeth gritted.

David was struggling to get him. But the little kid was stubborn like him. His lips wiggled as if he will cry anytime, and there was a tear on the side of his eyes. “Mommy, he’s really scary. I don’t want him to be my dad.”
