Chapter Forty nine

Trevor's pov

It's been two whole days since I almost lost her, two whole days since she's been asleep and there's literally no sign of her waking up.

Mom has come to check up on her about every few hours to make sure she's recovering well and always assures me that she's fine, just resting.

I want to believe it, I truly do, but seeing her laying on my bed not moving makes me want to break something.

She may look like she's peacefully sleeping but knowing that she almost died makes it hard to believe that she really is just resting.

"Still no response from Violet?" I asked for like the millionth time and Drew just whined, shaking his head no.

One thing I'm grateful for, is that he hasn't gotten tired of my constant questioning, maybe because he's just as worried as I am and seeing her like that is like a slow poison eating us up. We want her to wake so bad.
