Chapter nine

Trevor‟s pov

I kept my gaze fixed on my plate and blocked everyone out. The shock of this realisation had both Drew and I still and quiet. I found my mate and it‟s Mia.

“Drew, is this really true?” I asked my wolf, “positive” he said, without a single doubt in his voice.

What the hell was I supposed to do now? Do I tell her? “No” Drew said firmly, “why not? She‟s our mate and should be by our side” I said, feeling myself get upset with my wolf.

“We‟ve been waiting so long for our mate, I don‟t want to wait anymore” I said with conviction.

Sure Mia was insufferable but no one can deny that we‟re a perfect match and I refuse to spend another second denying that. I‟ve always felt drawn to her and as annoying as she is, Drew and I never got mad at her and now I know why.

I raised my eyes from my plate to look at her and she had the most mesmerising smile I‟d ever seen on her. I wanted nothing more than to whisk her up to my room and claim her but Drew cut those thoughts short.
