Tristan’s sincere apology put a smile on Audrey’s pretty face. “If you said it that way from the last time, then we didn’t have to be hostile to each other until now,” she smiled at him and offered her hand. “Let’s forget about the past and live on,” she added.

“So, friends?” Tristan asked after shaking their hands. A rare smile was sculpted on his lips. Well, as much as she remembered, Tristan never really smiled before. He would always smirk, laugh, and make funny faces to tease her.

“Let’s forgive and forget first for now. As for friendship, let me think about it,” she stated and signaled a waiter to bring her some more drink.

“Eh? I thought since you forgive me then we could become friends? What’s with your attitude?” He pouted and damn, she found it cute and adorable.

‘Wait, what?’

“Oh, Tristan. Give me a break. If see each other for the third time, then we can be friends. What do you think? Sounds nice, I know…” She teased.

The waiter arrived with more drinks and Audrey exchanged
