Chapter Forty-five

Margo sighed and leaned back in her seat. Her date with Kane had been amazing and she had loved nearly every minute but the conversation they’d had still weighed heavily on her mind. Tabbitha… Margo sighed to herself. She was the type of woman that could have had the world handed to her and Kane was the type of guy that could have done that for her. What could have happened to have changed all of that for them?  Margo couldn’t help but frown as she thought about it. 

“Hey,” Maribell said, knocking on the door. 

“Come in.” Margo hummed, stretching her back muscles.

“What’s up?” She asked as she stepped into the room.
