25. Unintended Golfing Buddies

I had given up on understanding Leo because he was an unpredictable, harsh and wicked human. He was insensitive to other people's emotions unlike his brother who made me feel at ease.

While he questioned me about the reason I asked Kay out for coffee, I wondered why the latter told him about it.

It was supposed to be an innocent meeting where I'd thank him for being a great source of relief to me but telling Leo was like blowing it out of proportion. I couldn't stand his questions so I made to exit the office.

However, he grabbed me and pulled me into a corner. His body was huge, masculine and tall over mine and I couldn't fathom why he had me in that position.

He looked down at my face then on my lips. I avoided his gaze and looked down at my feet but he held my chin up. He drew me closer and his lips came close to mine. I was startled when he closed his eyes and placed his lips on mine.
