58. Emily in shambles

EMILY POV

I had been so worried about Leo all day. I would have kept calling him but that might make me a nuisance. The day was a long one with the company in an uproar.

I saw so many faces I had never seen before although I spent the most part of the day in my office. I was sure that the employees would bombard me with several questions if I showed up. There would also be numerous gossips too and I could not stand them.

I left the company late into the night and Leo's personal driver took me home. After undressing, I could not eat dinner. My mind was filled with thoughts of Leo and what he might be going through. I decided to stand by the porch and wait for him to arrive because I could not sit around and do nothing.
