Searching for Answers

"We are no strangers and we aren't here to cause any trouble," I said. I walked over to him, bringing down my hood.

"Alpha Orion!" He yelled in shock. He reached out for me to touch me like a father would do his son. "I am so sorry! I had to touch you to confirm you are real. They told us you died in a fire. And the dirty rumour about you not being part of the Bloodmoon line"

"Well, that was no rumor and as you can see I am alive." I funnily wriggle both arms and legs to lessen the tension in the air. I wasn't ashamed to own up that I was not part of the Bloodmoon.

"I am glad you are. Things haven't remained the same since the announcement of your death and as Tristan ascended the position of Alpha." His shoulders dropped.

I pat his shoulders to comfort him. "It's sad to hear that. The council were already planning for him to be their Alpha a long time ago anyway because he listened to all they said." I fold my hands, leaning closer to him.
