Freya was right. We were wasting time in revealing secrets that would not help us. Although it was a huge surprise to find out that Kane's mother was kept hidden away in secret all these years.

My mother had once told me the Luna of Wolfshade town was a witch. It is the reason why a few witches were given safe haven in the town. The Luna knew the pain her kind was facing then.

It has been over one week now but Alex was still down with a high temperature. His convulsions were worse. He wasn't eating well. He had lost a lot of weight. We called two healers, one from outside Modan. Sir Franklin helped us find him. He said what was wrong with Alex was beyond the physical and more of the supernatural. The second healer made matters worse by saying we had little time to save Alex. I disagreed with that remark, got mad and kicked him out of the house.
