Chapter 76

Sabine

“Sabine, where have you been?” Dad inquired as soon as I entered the pack house.

“Out for a run,” I let out. “What are you doing here?” I quizzed once mom’s face appeared in my view.

“We wanted to talk to you. Is there anywhere we could talk in private?” Dad uttered, looking around. I knew it wasn’t the Castle, but I was proud of how nice the pack house was coming out.

Despite dad wanting to rebuild everything from wood, I went against his wish and used blocks and concrete. It was a slow process, but I wasn’t going to take any chances.

The house I was building was similar to Kade’s previous pack house, except it was bigger and more spacious.

In addition to the alpha and beta wing, I added a guest side, a children’s area, a bigger and improved kitchen for Ella and her helpers. Now that Alex was awake and getting better, she was supposed to come back and resume cooking activities.

“Sure” I rolled my eyes, gesturing to him to follow me. “I didn’t know you were coming,” I blur
