As we sat in the dining room, I couldn’t help but ponder on how complicated everything had gotten. Nate’s POV After an exhaustingly long morning of training, I finally found my way back to my office. Since coming home from the Blue Crescent Pack, training had been full on. There wasn’t a chance in hell I would allow Serena’s plan to confront Skylar come into fruition if she wasn’t 100% ready. But frankly, I’d never known her take her training as seriously as she had been over the last couple of days. I was convinced I’d woken up in a parallel universe when she was readily awaiting her first training session at 6am yesterday morning.
