I walked into the dark woods, and that annoying lycan followed me without shame. He didn't care that my whole tent had been torn down and I might not have a place to sleep for the rest of the trip, or that the whole camp was now awake and startled by our small moment.

It would be very hard to tell them about this the next morning. I couldn't even start to think about what I was going to say. I thought I would say something like, "Don't worry about anything." The Lycan Emperor and I just had a small misunderstanding about a very small thing. We couldn't decide who was the ugliest, so we decided to settle the matter with a pointless fight that destroyed my tent and woke up the whole camp. I promise it has nothing to do with the fact that he barged into my tent and asked me how he could apply to sleep with me as if I were just another woman in his harem.

Ugh!

I didn't know I was very far into the woods until Lucian growled at me from behind to warn me. I stopped where I was right away.
