Her chest rises and falls. Her heavy breathing slowed as my brother ran from the room.

“Let go!” She mutters

“Is Anika coming out?”

“No.” I release her from my arms and she slowly turns to look at me. “Is it true?”

Looking towards the open door. I curse my brother. He should have waited until we were all together to tell her.

“Yes.” There was no point in me lying. She could probably sense it, just as I sensed her getting angry minutes ago.

Her odd eyes study me. A frown appears on her brow. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Honestly? I didn’t think it would actually come to it. I guess somewhere along the line, I thought Xander would back off. His feelings for you are not the same as mine and I don't know why. I was downstairs and sensed your anger. The mark has connected us differently.”

“He marked me too!”

“And I don’t know why it’s different for him. Have you not realised that I can touch you without you freaking out? Is it the same for Xander?”

She fiddles with the hem of her shir

cont...and Xander just said that he has rejected perfectly good women for jaxon...so he wanted the other women rather than blue.

oh boy! I'm craving more information and more about Anika and why she is closer to one twin than the other. I want the truth about the twins...they always say the other is lying and that blue doesn't know the real them...but the only one I feel that is iffy is Xander.why does he want her so bad now?

This is getting good! I wish the brothers would kiss & make up for Blue’s sake. I feel they need to work together to help Blue & Anika. I can’t wait to find out! Thx for the update! Ps I was unable to gift a gem. The gem icon didn’t appear!
