They looked down on me like I was some kind of poor defenceless puppy. Their eyes full of pity as Anika continued to cuss them both. Muttering about how she would get her revenge for being marked.

‘Just let me think!’ I snap at her in the hopes she would be quiet for just one single minute.

She grunts but stops speaking.

‘Thank you!’ I mutter and feel how she nods her head.

“Can you walk?” Xander asks, his blue eyes hover on me before he looks at Jaxon. I hear the sigh that he tries to hide as I stand up.

“I’m fine.” I mumble back, but I wasn’t even certain I was. Marked by both Lycans and living with a crazy arsed wolf. Life couldn’t get more complicated.

Jaxon reaches out to touch me and when I recoil, Anika laughs. Jaxon’s arm drops by his side, his mouth firmly shut. A hint of sadness appears in his eyes.

Still afraid to let him touch us. It wasn’t that long ago Xander’s dick was pressed up against our leg!
