THIRD PERSON'S POV

"I'm sorry, but I can't hang out tonight. I'm tired and I want to go to bed early." Zoey said and gave a fake yawn. Just to add a dramatic effect to her lies.

She was on the phone with one of her friends and they were inviting her for a girls' night out in the famous nightclub for kids from rich families. Kids like her. Of course, she would have loved to go. She'd give anything for some shots of whiskey and spending the night on the bed of some rich, hot stranger. But tonight, she couldn't go. Not when she'd been avoiding the outdoors for fear of running into Luther or his spy.

Ever since her spy lied to King Arlo about who sent him, she'd been avoiding Luther's calls. Surely, meeting him will be a nightmare because he just might throttle her. So staying locked up was the better option. Even though it might affect her social life.

"I spent the whole day taking care of something and I need to rest right now." She continued with her lies. She didn't do a thing today.
