My head spun as I hear even more talking happening around me, feeling as though I was on some kind of rocking ship, I open up my eyes and discover two people stood talking in the room. The doctor, which was able to help me last time Dwight, stood in hospital scrubs talking with another man, who I soon realise was one of Vito’s men Louis. “She’ll be in this drowsy type of state for a couple of hours where she’ll spend most of the time asleep, after she wakes up, tell Vito she’ll need to take this pain medication until it’s ran its course.” Dwight explains handing over three large white boxes of what I’m guessing are pills, Louis nodding placing the boxes into his jacket pocket. “Alright, Vito is waiting outside in the car, I thought I’ll carry her on my back through the hospital and out.” Louis shrugs walking over to me and shaking me a little, where I had to shake my own head in hopes of waking myself up a little. “Coraline, I need you to hold onto my neck whilst I carry you.” Lo
The van soon pulled up outside of an old factory right at the edge of the city, away from any peeping eyes who may have some questions and far away enough, so no one was to hear a thing, no matter how loud you were. “Get the girl.” Vito tells Buster who sat in the front with Jayden, he nodded his head and jumped out to pick up the tied and gagged girl shaking in the back, whilst Vito looked down at Coraline who still lay asleep on his lap. “Are you sure this is what you want do to Vito, once you pull that trigger, there’s no turning back?” Jayden asks from the front looking through the mirror at his friend, who only looked down at the girl on his lap stroking his hair. “That man attempted to kill her, sending his men to shoot at her when my back was turned. She was forced to endure such pain and fear, the only way for him to truly pay for that is to make him feel that same pain again and again, until he realises, I’m not one to be fucked with.” Vito says still looking down at Co
I jolt awake suddenly from my sleep, my breathing fast as though I had just run some kind of marathon. For a moment, I was kind of lost on everything, the last thing I remembered I was sitting in an ambulance with Owen and having some kind of medication but after that, it’s all sort of hazy and jumpy as like I was in some kind of flashing fever dream. “Where am I?” I ask out loud turning to look at the new location I was in, I wasn’t at a hospital as like I thought I would wake up in but I also, wasn’t laying in Vito’s bed back at his house. The room was pretty big, there were huge windows littering the entire room looking out at the city of London down below, I knew at night with all the city lights, that view would be so beautiful. There was a little coffee table in front of the very comfortable double bed I was laying in, white sheets lay on top of my legs allowing me to preserve heat. I knew I was laying in some fancy hotel but not knowing where I was or if I was here all alon
After showering until the feeling that I was finally clean came and Vito, inspecting my body to ensure the man hadn’t placed a tracker somewhere on my body, even though I think he didn’t fully believe a tracker would be on my body and used the time to take in each area as though he was undoing what that man did, I enter into the the huge living area of the hotel room. Jayden sat on one of the chairs reading what appeared to be some car magazine. “It’s nice to see you up and about Coraline… how many times have I said that now?” Jayden smiled towards me before looking off into the distance recalling the recent events which had been taking me out. “Too many times, talking about up and about, have you been to see my father today?” I ask getting a little worried that it seemed he’d been sitting here and not with my father like he said he would, if he doesn’t feel up to it, I’ll stay behind I truly do not mind. “I’ve just gotten back, whilst you were showering, I went to see him, gave
Before I knew it, we were pulling up to a really old and rundown hotel of some description, even the carpark outside looked as though it had seen better days. It always puzzles me how places such as this could stay up and running, no one in their right mind would stay in a place such as this, you don’t know what bugs or other creatures you could be checking in with! This had to be some kind of secret place for criminal activity, the owner can’t be making enough money from people staying here to keep this place up and running, which is why I didn’t find it surprising when an older man walks out smiling towards Vito who was helping me out of the car. “Hello sir, it is always so great to see you.” The man smiled over to Vito, who nodded shaking the man’s hand, I wonder if it’s Vito who pays for this place to stay open, but why would he? I mean with the life that I know he lives and the taste he has, there’s no way he’d accept to stay in a place such as this no matter the situation that
Walking down the quite dark hallway of this place accompanied by the smell which I can only describe as death, I didn’t have high expectations for what this room was going to look like. I knew Vito had told the man I’m assuming is the manager to give me the best room, but could the best room still be disgusting? So, to say I was beyond shocked to see how clean the room looked when Louis opened the door was an understatement, the room even smelt as though it was disinfected and cleaned at least once a day. Either this is the only room that man can be bothered to clean, or it never gets used, I wondered why the rest of the room didn’t look the same as the horrid scene outside. The door was soon closed behind us by Dylan, who always seemed to be a little bored or very annoyed whenever I see him, doesn’t this man ever crack a smile? But if Vito trusted him enough to wait with me whilst he couldn’t, I knew I had to drop my questions surrounding him and his attitude. “What can we do?”
I had to gulp a little as I stood by the toilet with my hands up, all my exits were blocked by Dylan who still pointed the gun in my direction whilst Louis lay passed out on the floor still by his feet. “Dylan, what are you doing?” I ask with a shaky breath staring at him, speaking with this man was the last thing I wanted to do but I had to give Vito enough seconds to get here before I get shot. “Don’t play dumb with me Coraline, you know what I’m doing.” He tells me with that same smile on his lips, whilst banging from the bedroom door outside begins to sound through the room. “It appears your knight in shining armour is finding it hard to enter the room.” He continued taking a look out at the door where the thumping didn’t stop, maybe Vito was attempting to kick the door in. “What are you gaining from this Dylan, you know Vito is going to break through that door eventually, if you do anything to me, you’ll die.” I say with my hands still in the air, even though I was very sca
Before long, Jayden sends the car to a stretching stop in the middle of an old tarmac road, the huge trees and bushes acting as some kind of blockade from the neighbouring fields and people. I was a little lost on what was happening and where in which we were, I thought Jayden was going to drop us to the airport, this doesn’t look like any airport I’ve seen! But with the crazy thriller like movie situation, I had just been dumped in, I didn’t have it in me to question anything. “Alright, take Louis to see Dwight and make sure you destroy any guns that were used and ditch this car.” Vito instructs Jayden ripping his seatbelt off and throwing his door open, soon arriving at my door and opening it up for me. “I’ve got it covered man, you focus on getting yourself and Coraline onto that airplane and out of the way until this shitstorm passes.” Jayden replied as I’m pulled out of the car and stood beside Vito, who took his phone out of his pocket and smashed it on the ground under his
