Violet's POV

“Yes, she's dead, she was shot in the head last week,” Ava kept sobbing.

“Shot in the head? by who?”

“Last week, while coming back from my Best friend's place, I saw a lost phone on the floor and I picked it with thoughts that maybe the owner misplaced it and would be looking for it, so I wanted to help them get their phone back so I took it with me, I didn't know the phone belonged to some really bad guys…..”

“Bad guys!?” My both brows were up this time, “Shit!.....so what did they do?” I asked further.

“They busted us at the house that night, but when they came in I was in the toilet. I don't know how they managed to track me but I believe it was through the phone. At the time they came to our home, my mother was having the phone at hand….”

“Oh My God!” I exclaimed but in a calm tone, I didn't want to draw the attention of the officer.
