I stared at Alpha Brad, my exhaustion momentarily forgotten as surprise and confusion took over. His presence at my door, especially at this late hour, was unexpected.

"Can we talk?" he asked

I hesitated, studying his face for any signs of insincerity. After what had happened the last time I had seen him, I wasn't sure what to make of his sudden appearance, and I was nervous to let him in.

His eyes flickered down and I immediately looked down as well to see that my robe's ties had loosened, allowing the lingerie I had worn to bed to peek through.

I hurriedly snapped the robe close, retying it, causing his eyes to flicker back up to mine. "It's late, Brad. Whatever it is, can't it wait until tomorrow?"

He pretentiously ran a hand through his hair, acting nervous and agitated. "I know it's late, but this can't wait. I've been thinking about this for so long, and I can't hold it back anymore."

I sighed, feeling a mix of frustration and curiosity. I hesitated, battling my tiredness
