As we wrapped up our dinner, Jasper extended his hand in a wordless invitation. Excitedly, I took his hand, and we began to sway to the music. Jasper held me close, and I nestled my head on his shoulder, feeling secure and cherished. It was an idyllic moment, as if time had ceased to exist.

As the song drew to a close, I gazed up at Jasper, beaming. "This has been the best date ever," I exclaimed gratefully.

Jasper checked his watch and groaned. "We'll have to leave soon. I only had permission for th
