Chapter Seventeen

ARTHUR'S POV.

I stood there, staring at Elsa, who was seated on the bed, looking as surprised as I was. But my anger was directed towards Ursula, who was standing there with a guilty look on her face.

My blood boiled with rage as I realized the extent of her deceit. She had deliberately misled me and the rest of the pack, causing us to waste valuable time searching for Elsa when she was safe all along. My jaw clenched as I struggled to contain my fury.

I couldn't believe that Ursula, my wife, would betray me and the pack like this. I had always trusted her, but now that trust had been shattered. I could feel the heat rising in my body, my muscles tensing as I fought to control my rage.

As I glared at Ursula, she flinched under my intense gaze. She knew she had done wrong, and the guilt was written all over her face. But her remorse was too little, too late. My fury burned hot like wildfire, and nothing she could say or do would quench it.
