The head enforcer stood a few steps away with a disappointed look. His cold eyes were looking down on me waiting for my next move. He shook his head before grabbing his teacup and taking another sip. If it was any other time, I would've found the sight of a half shifted Lycan drinking tea hilarious, but not today. This simple gesture was a way to tell me that he never thought of me as a threat.
