chapter one hundred and twenty eight

EDWARD’S FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

We were scouting the environment when the gate to the building Tony pointed to rustled. Someone was trying to open it from inside. One side of the gate opened so we jumped to different hiding spots around then peeped to see what was about to happen. A young man dressed in an all black outfit looking like a private force member came out alone. He locked the gate then started walking towards us, the path that led to the main street. I wondered what he wanted to get that he came out alone considering the fact that the main street was as deserted as the most deserted desert in the world. He was on foot and that would definitely not get him to anywhere he could get anything. We stayed put in our hiding spot for him to pass by.

I was contemplating what to do with him when he made a turn into another building. When he was gone, I jumped and went over to where Tony was quietly so my footsteps would not announce our presence.
