CELESTIA’S FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

I had no idea if it was the way I shouted at her or because of the tragic news she was about to break to me but she burst into a fresh tear after I snapped at her to tell me what was wrong already and quit the suspense.

“Thomas is dead.” She said finally.

I stood there staring at her for a few seconds wondering if she had gone insane or I was the one dreaming.

“What is that supposed to mean? That is not possible.” I spoke in denial then went to my grandfather, “Grandpa? Tell me my mum does not know what she is saying and all that I just heard right now is gibberish?” I said with my voice already breaking from the cry that had built up in my throat.

I could feel my chest burning and my head getting heavier as I held on to grandpa and shook him to speak but all I got from him was a pity look and him trying to calm me down,

“Celestia, calm down. It is the truth. We just confirmed and rushed over here to make sure you were okay.” That was the last
