EDWARD’S FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

The call was from Taylor. I got taken aback for a minute as I saw his name displayed on my phone’s screen. Do not get me wrong, it is not the fact that he called that was surprising but the time. He was at my gallery about a day or two prior so I did not expect to see his call that morning again. I eventually picked it.

“Hello.” His innocent voice came on the other end of the call.

“Hey Taylor. How have you been?” I asked.

“I have not been so good.” He answered and that got my attention.

“What happened? Are you okay?” I asked raising my voice a little attracting my mum’s attention as she mouthed “What is it?” curiously. She must have not been paying attention initially.

“I am okay. It is Thomas and grandpa.” He said almost breaking into tears.

“Do not cry. Talk to me. What happened to them?” I asked. I had already jumped off the chair I was seated on. My mum tapped my thighs as she kept mouthing some questions at me, she was never patient enough whe
