EDWARD’S FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

I was in my living room watching the TV and having a me time when I heard a knock on my door. To my surprise, it was my mother. She had been calling me over the past few days to apologize about the last time but I did not bulge. I was surprised to see her at my door because I had instructed my gatekeeper to not allow her into my house.

“Mum? How were you able to enter?” That was the first question that escaped my mouth on seeing her as I looked around for my gatekeeper.

“I met the gate open today thankfully so I let myself in. I had been coming but it seems tou gave them the instructions to not let me in.” She explained.

“I really need to tighten my security up.” I thought in my head as I imagined if it had been some random robbers or petty thieves. I promised myself to deal with the gatekeeper later for leaving my gate open and going on about his business like it was nothing.
