Leah POV

I walked away, feeling hurt at what I had just seen. I did not need a priest to tell me that they had reconciled and had had sex. It reeked of them, especially Stephanie.

Her smug smile when she saw me made it more obvious. Damian didn't even care. His cold eyes glanced at me without remorse.

Why did he have to flirt with me if he had no feelings for me? It hurt.

I was going to the clinic since I had not been able to go earlier. I was sure a lot of the men must have healed.

When I got there, there was just a small group of men waiting outside. I became confused. What was going on? They turned as I got closer.

“Welcome Luna Anne,” they chorused and bowed. It felt weird.

“Thank you. What is going on? Why is everyone outside?” I asked them, glancing at the now familiar faces.

One of them cleared his throat. “We would like to apologize and also say thank you for taking care of us,” he said loudly and everyone murmured their agreement.
