A week later…

Today marks one week after the ugly incident which led to the loss of my child. No day passes without me having a thought about it despite all my efforts to forget about it.

Right now, I was pacing around the chambers with my hands across my chest. Earlier, I had sent the maids away so I could have more privacy to myself.

My mind was troubled and speaking to Alpha Jasper was the only way I could calm down but the issue wasn't speaking to him, rather it was how I would phrase my words.

For a while now, I have been hearing the maids talking about the rumors which had spread outside the wall of the palace.
