Chapter 2

Brandon heard that Anna was talking to him, but he pretended not to hear. He don’t enjoy talking to a bookworm, it’s boring.

During a period, Anna listened to the lecture while Brandon was sleeping at the table. Seeing this, Anna guessed he must not be studying very well either.

At recess, as usual, the new student gets the attention of the others in the class, but Anna is different. No one seems to want to talk to her. Anna studies alone, plays alone, she looks very lonely.

While Anna was redecorating her Russian book, she reached for the orange pen on the table when she touched Brandon’s hand. Brandon was not asleep, he just closed his eyes. As soon as he felt someone touch him, he woke up.

“Did you just touch me?” said Brandon.

“Yeah, I’m so sorry, I’ve just..”

Anna bowed her head, wanting to apologize, but now Brandon was glaring at her, his face cold, not friendly at all.

“Please pay attention! Although I know you’re nearsighted,” said Brandon, pointing his hand over Anna’s thick glasses, “but I don’t like people touching me, nerd.”

Brandon finished warning Anna, then returned to continue to lie down on the table, leaving the new student to look at him.

Being called a ‘bookworm’, Anna was a little sad, but she got used to it because at her old school, everyone called her that. Although he was used to this nickname, no one enjoyed being called that.

Anna sighed, took the orange pen next to Brandon’s hand, and continued to complete a few small exercises in her Russian.

At the end of her first lesson, Anna returned home at four o’clock in the afternoon. She cooks rice, showers, prepares clothes and puts on some makeup to go to Five Rose bar to work part-time at 7pm. Every day, her father is going to the houses of the households to fix the plumbing, the mother is working at home, and the younger brother is taking part in extracurricular social activities.

Anna needed an hour and a half to prepare dinner, and so did today.

As Anna passed her mother, Cart Mariaway, busy working on a fur coat, Cart asked Anna about her first day at the most famous school in town.

“How was school today, Anna? Friends?” said Cart. She was stomping on the sewing machine pedal. Her right hand moved the piece of cloth onto the table.

“Hmm, It’s okay, mom. Everything is fine. Ms. Julie is quite enthusiastic and so are my classmates.” Anna held the canned tuna. She smiled, tilted her head to answer her mother.

Hearing Anna’s answer, Cart curled his lips, his eyes filled with joy. “Let’s do your best! I know you’re an excellent student.” said Cart.

Anna shrugged and left, feeling a little sad in her heart. She couldn’t tell her mother that her friends despised her. Except for her teacher Julie, Anna felt unable to get close to anyone, not even her classmate Brandon.

Although Anna asked for his name, he didn’t say it, on the contrary, she knew his name was Brandon because she heard someone call his name and from the name on the cover of the book that he wrote, Brandon Luisones, a real name. Beautiful and luxurious.

Chewing on the last piece of pasta left on her plate, Anna slung her handbag over her shoulder, the brown cowhide of the bag making her skin look whiter and sexier.

“Mom, I have to go to work. The food is covered. Daddy’s going to come back in a moment. Let’s warm it up for him!” said Anna. She put on her cowboy boots, clumped, and closed the door.

Now it’s time for the night to begin.

...

‘Cheers!’

‘Come on, baby!’

‘Oh, woah, you look so pretty. Would you like to go with me for a night?’

Even though she was a door away, Anna could still hear loud music and vulgar words coming from the men. This gave her quite a headache!

Anna is wearing mysterious black bunny clothes, has a pair of long rabbit ears on her head, is currently editing the position of the half mask, preparing to enter the main hall to work, the position where Anna is standing. Bar staff locker room.

Actually, when Anna said she was going to work in a bar, her father disagreed, saying it was too complicated for a teenager like her, and he was perfectly capable of raising her. But when her mother’s life was in danger and needed money to buy medicine, all the family savings ran out and he could only reluctantly agree.

Everything at this bar is very good, from the employee treatment policy as well as the security order and salary. It is extremely guaranteed. It’s just that Anna finds it a bit annoying to deal with perverts who always touch their thighs and want to pay her for the night.

Holding a wine tray, inside was a bottle of premium vodka. Anna professionally nodded to the Bartender, “What number is the table?” said Anna.

“Desk 15. Row B.” said Oliver, you are the one who invited Anna to work here because she and he have been neighbors since they were children.

“Okay, I’ll bring it right away.” said Anna, graceful footsteps through the crowds.

In this bar, each table has its own space called a small room, each of which can accommodate about five or six people. Currently, at the tenth and fifteenth table, there are five people in all, three men and two women.

When she saw the man sitting in the center of the couch, Anna was immediately stunned. Isn’t this Brandon?

At this time, Brandon was wearing a hoodie outside, his right hand was holding a glass to take a few sips of wine, and his left hand was slung over the shoulder of a girl with flamboyant makeup.

She was wearing a miniskirt, her slender thighs exposed in the air, her collar cut down to her chest, a sympathetic look on her face as Brandon put his arm around her shoulders.

“Brandon, would you like some grapes?” said Jane, who is the girl sitting next to Brandon. Jane’s voice is really so sweet.

“No, it’s sour!” Brandon pushed away the purple grape in Jane’s hand, a disgusted look on his face.

“Then eat something else. What kind of fruit do you like?” Jane leaned against Brandon’s chest, glancing at him tenderly.

Brandon didn’t have time to answer. Jack, sitting to the right of Jane, laughed haha. His tone faltered.

“Oh sweetie, instead of feeding him, why don’t you feed me?”

Jane laughs with Jack. Brandon smiles at Jack as well. They won’t argue over a woman serving in a bar.

“What do you want to eat, Jack? Brandon has no objection, so I’ll feed you!” Jane looked at Jack passionately, her eyes full of sweetness.
