Chapter Eighteen

She hoped that he was joking. Her heart sank as he confirmed that he was being serious.

"You want me to sleep on the same bed with you?" She asked, hoping that he would call her delusional.

"You wouldn't want me to repeat myself." He said and she swallowed.

She raised the duvet and slowly got into the bed. She laid down slowly. The bed was too soft. She wanted to sleep immediately but her eyes shone bright like a diamond. She shifted to the edge of the bed. She didn't want to intrude on his space.

"Are you sleeping with that mask on your face?" He asked and she sat up.

Her hands rubbed her face. Did she have a mask on?

"Wash that color off your face if you're sleeping in my bed." She nodded and stood up from the bed.

"Where is the bathroom?" She asked slowly and he pointed in the direction of where he had entered earlier.

She pushed the door open slowly. Inside his bathroom was the size of her room. His bathroom was also painted black. He needed color in his life. She stared at the
