Chapter 61: Her Wishes
"Okay," she replied cheerfully.
She walked speedily to the bed and put the laptop on it. Then she went to Niel again and hugged his left arm like a child. Niel just scoffed at her childish behaviour. 'I'm raising a kid,' he mumbled inwardly, feeling like he was a father to Haylee. The clock showed past nine, they got out of the penthouse in a hurry and went down to the foyer. As soon as the VIP elevator arrived on the ground floor, they headed straight to the Mon Amour Restaurant and entered it.
"Is it open?" Haylee asked Niel abruptly since there was no one inside the restaurant. It was empty but the lights were on and Haylee could hear that there were people working in the back kitchen.
"Of course, it's open. It'll open whenever I say it's open," Niel replied snobbishly, intending to annoy her. He could see Haylee was scoffing at him.
