CHAPTER 18

Having the marvelous body of his woman on his lap–as he called her every time they were alone -, Ace couldn’t stop thinking about that morning. He looked so aloof that couldn’t go unnoticed by Susan.

Whimsically, Susan got up from Ace’s lap. It was easy to anyone to notice Ace was out of his world like if something was bothering, like if he’d realized something that wasn’t really okay with him.

“Ace!” She called him out.

“What? What do you want now, Susan?”

Susan crossed her arms over her chest. “What’s going on with you? You suddenly called me and asked me to come to your apartment. I though I was coming to have a good moment, but I see I’m wrong.”

“Please, Susan, I don’t have the time to discuss this with you,” said Ace getting up from his leathered chair and going for a drink.

“I can’t believe this! You’re such an idiot, but it’s my fault when I really can be having a good time with a worthy man-” She continued saying while Ace kept busy in his drink.
