Wiping her tears roughly, tired of the fact that in only two days he had passed over her as he passed over any of the rugs in that house full of luxuries, she went after him. She had to listen to him, she had to make things clear because she was also a human being, a person who needed to be treated as such. There were rules in that house, she wasn't going to fight against that because in the end, Diego was right, their marriage was just a damn contract that she signed without her having the time to ask questions because for her grandfather, she had been nothing more than a damn object, a damn tool that he could handle at his whim and obviously, at his convenience.

"Diego, Diego," Cameron called after him.

And he, without stopping, continued to the room they had to share whether he wanted to or not.

"Diego," Cameron continued calling.

And without the slightest attention, Diego stopped more to think about where he had left his marriage papers than for her.

"What do you want, Cameron?" D
