Working for Hayden's team was very demanding. I was a mess with some documents I had to draft, and I was also busy with my other job.

"You look terrible," Lily said as she entered the office. She left me coffee on the desk and sat across from me.

"Have you been informed that someone new will be joining today?" she asked me.

"Is he here already?" I asked.
