A week later, Hayden stayed at my apartment. I felt like it was becoming a habit for him, our relationship was getting a bit too homely, and I couldn't ask him to leave because I loved sleeping in his strong arms; it felt warm and somehow so special.

"I don't think I can stay over tonight," he told me as he prepared breakfast.

I stood by his side and looked at him. "Is something wrong?" I asked.

He shook his head immediately. "Jona wants me to train with a new car, and that will take up my whole day and part of the night, so I don't think I can make it," he said.

I nodded understandingly, though I would miss him. "It's your job, it's okay," I said with a smile.

He leaned in and kissed me on the lips. "I'll buy you something nice tomorrow," he promised.

I nodded, knowing he would. That's what I liked about him; he always kept his word.
