Chapter 42: Victory, Finally!

"Where is she?" asked John.

Eric looked at him and didn't say anything.

"Where had she gone to?" asked Kevin curiously.

Eric stated he wasn’t sure where she left too, but she was gone.

The three of them didn’t ask any more questions as they were sure, Eric and Ruby got into an argument and didn’t want to probe for any more details.

They soon left the cave and went back to the military camp.

As soon as he got back to the base, he was anxiously looking for Ruby. He couldn't understand why, but he wanted to see her. But no matter where he looked, he couldn't find her. Maybe she went to pick up herbs? He left for the hilltop looking for her. But she wasn't there either. Frowning he thought, "Where could she be?"

After thinking for a while, he remembers that she was probably with his grandfather. He went to his grandfather's tent, hoping to find her. He knew that this feeling was longing for someone. That longing is missing her. He wanted to see her beautiful face. He wanted to be close
