Chapter 43: A woman is waiting for you

As they came back from the enemy’s territory, Eric became absent minded again. Eric seems to be lost in his world.

Kevin frowned at Eric’s attitude. Worried, Kevin felt like he needed to talk to him and see what was bothering him. He seems to be stressing about something. He had never seen Eric so depressed before.

Eric and the men were entering the military camp, and one of the soldiers ran up to him and said, “There’s a woman waiting for you.”

Eric’s face lit up right away. He was happy to hear that she had come back. Not wanting to miss a moment he hurries his horse to meet her.

Kevin hadn’t seen him so happy since Ruby left. Maybe there is something going on between them. Maybe something happened in the cave. Whatever it was made Eric this way. It would explain Eric's behavior and attitude. Kevin thought he would need to get to the bottom of this.
