Eryn stood over me and extended his hand for me to take. I grabbed it, needing help, but I was so confused.

"How are you here?" I asked him.

"Really Rain?" He asked as if I offended him by the question. "It's not hard to follow the path you left to get here. All I had to do was focus on you." He answered.

"I didn't know I had left a path for you to follow." I admitted. "Wait, I thought you said you weren't going to watch. Why did you help me?"

"I couldn't let you lose your magic." He said softly, some of that hard exterior of his shedding off. "You're still my charge and somehow I would get blamed for it." Well so much for that hard shell shedding.
