Another memory.

Evie's POV

The fatigue I felt or thought that I felt, left me immediately as my scream rented the air. The wolf snarled at me as it advanced forward, directly in the direction that I was in. My breath hitched and I couldn't feel the air in my lungs anymore.

"Our dear Lord Jesus, please save me." I prayed. Feeling like that might just not be enough, I added. "Dear moon goddess, please let me make it alive."

The wolf continued to advance toward me. Even though I wanted to close my eyes to keep the wolf and the thought of dying away, u couldn't help it. As the wolf stalked towards me, I felt these tinge in my soul.

This tug. I screamed as the white wolf I was seeing turned into a grey wolf in only a blink of an eye. Instead of the golden eyes, the white wolf had, the grey one had red ones. Red eyes that seemed to be burning.
