I was holding Lacey firmly in my hands. Not even a few hours ago, I was rushed to the hospital, and they had to do emergency surgery to get her out because I couldn’t give natural birth to her. The doctors told me I might die if I attempted to give natural birth because my body was too frail. Eugene was next to me and panicked when he heard I might die, so he lectured me. His outburst led to the nurses taking him away to calm him down while I was taken to ICU.
