"Rose, could you stop preparing things and sit down? It's not good for you to walk around like this."
I peered at Mama as I sorted through all the fruits in the bowl, "I'm almost finished."
As I reached to put the rest of the fruits in the bowl, Eugene grabbed my hands, forcing me to look at him. "Dear, I'm not usually one to tell you what to do, but I think you should listen to your mother this time."
"But," I pouted as I glanced at the fruit, "I'm almost finished."

Early the following morning, I heard a knock on my door. Still struggling to wake up, I put on my bathrobe and walk to my locked door unlocking it.
