Chapter 31: This Is Just The Begining

Nadia’s POV

A year passed with me working in the film industry as a screenwriter. My second script was accepted too and the short film is about completing now. Now the producer is interested in this story of mine, but the female lead happened to be a ballet dancer.

“If you ask me to select the best Bollywood dancer, it will take me forever, but a ballet dancer? Never seen anyone with the passion for it in this industry,” Mr Hrithik told me. For a moment, I stayed mute, digesting his words and contemplating what to tell him. I rolled my eyes a thousand times, puckered my lips, and pressed my hands into each other. If no cast is selected, my script will be rejected. I bit my lower lip.

“I want to volunteer to act,” the words vaguely rolled out of my tongue and I immediately regretted it as Mr Hrithik’s forehead creases into a frown. I lowered my gaze to the table and tapped my slender fingers on it while rolling my eyes.
